Monday Morning Manna
Send out your light and your truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live. Psalm 43:3
Using technology the church is never separated instead we remain connected. Yesterday Minister Thomas encouraged us to stick to the truth of God during these uncertain times. God’s Word and His truth will never steer us in the wrong direction. This week I encourage you to find strength in reading God’s Word. Turn to the altar, start praying and seeking God that is the only place we can turn to be secure.
As we read Scripture we’re reading truth. From it we can learn His principles and apply them to our life. It’s not merely the thoughts of ancient manuscripts, but the Spirit of God, speaking to our spirit. And as we read the word of God, the living Word, Jesus, brings it to life, and the Spirit of truth conveys it directly into our hearts.
‘Send out your light and your truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live. There I will go to the altar of God, to God—the source of all my joy. I will praise you with my harp, O God, my God! Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! (Emphasis added) I will praise him again—my Savior and my God! (Psalm 43:3-5)
Prayer for today: Everlasting Father, let Your word be a light to my path. Amen
