What gives you awe? What things create that nostalgic feeling when you see it?<\/p>\n<p>Scripture tells us the night Christ was born was the most awe-inspiring event which has ever occurred in human history as God sent His only begotten Son to earth so that we could ultimately have eternal life. There has not been an event in history before or after Christ\u2019s birth that resulted in such celebration.<\/p>\n<p>Can you imagine how the shepherds\u2019 jaws must have dropped at the site and sounds of the angels? Note even the greatest Christmas light display can match the skies on that glorious night. That moment was so majestic that we probably cannot fully comprehend what it was like because honestly, none of us have encountered such a sight.<\/p>\n<p>It is true, technology has stolen some of the joy of the unknown making scenes that once were impossible come to life. There was a time James Bond was talking into his watch and we called it science fiction \u2013 that is now a reality. Unfortunately, most of us probably have fewer awe-inspiring moments with God like we should. Our relationship with Him often becomes too comfortable and even ordinary.<\/p>\n<p>This Christmas, I\u2019d like to remind you the birth of our Savior is still a glorious moment. I encourage you to make an attempt to regain those awe-inspiring jaw dropping moments with God.
