In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. <strong>\u00a0John 16:33<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s Christmas carol is &#8211; \u2018Do You Hear What I Hear\u2019. This song asks the listener to see through the eyes of hope. One verse says<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Pray for peace, people everywhere!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Listen to what I say<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Child, the Child, sleeping in the night<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He will bring us goodness and light<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He will bring us goodness and light<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I think most of us can say we\u2019re pretty well acquainted with the term \u201ctroubled times.\u201d Not only because of the obvious state our nation has been in for the past year, but because throughout all of our lives we will walk through some dark valleys. But when we look to Jesus, do you see what I see? When you look to Jesus, do you see hope? You do? Great! But\u2026hope in what? Pause for a moment and consider all the things you have hope in through Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>What did you come up with? Hopefully a big list, because there is so much to hope for in Jesus! Because without Jesus there isn\u2019t much hope. Jesus is our game changer!
