But what about today? Isn\u2019t today a new day, a chance to reflect on yesterday and make today right? Today\u2019s passage tells us that Gods mercies are new \u2018each morning\u2019. To me this means, each day we arise we have a chance to make it right. It is my prayer that you will approach today with joy, expectation, gratitude and think today is a new day. It\u2019s the first day of the rest of my life. It\u2019s new &#8211; and I\u2019m alive. I can breathe the air and feel the wind on my face. Today\u2019s a gift from the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>While we can see it as just another ordinary day, or one of those grey days, with the same jobs to do, and the same journeys to make. But why not see today as your New Years Day. A new day can hold many surprises and could even be the best day of our lives.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday may have held some downfall or failure, but, like a spiritual bath or shower of His mercy and forgiveness, we\u2019re able to start anew with a clean heart, for yesterday has gone and today is a new day!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong> <em>Loving Father in heaven, Thank You, Lord, for this new morning.
