There will always be things about God that we must accept by faith. There will be seasons when we cannot see with our natural eyes what God is doing or where He is taking us. We may look at our circumstances and wonder, “How could anything good possibly come from this?” But that is where faith comes in.

When we begin to see through the eyes of faith instead of simply looking through the lens of our circumstances, our perspective changes. We may not understand what God is doing, but we can trust the One who is doing it. We may not know the route, but we can trust the Guide. We may not see the breakthrough yet, but we can trust that God is still working.

So, if things don’t look promising today, don’t lose heart. If everything seems rather stormy in your life, remember that God has not left you. He is right there with you in the middle of the storm. What looks like the end to you may simply be another chapter in God’s greater plan.

You may not understand the road you are traveling, but God does. You may not see the rainbow yet, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t coming. Keep trusting. Keep believing. Keep holding on to His Word. God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. You don’t have to understand everything God is doing to trust that He knows exactly what He is doing.

Prayer for today: Thank you, Lord, that Your ways are higher than what I can see. Because right now, my lenses are crowded with discouragement. Yet still I continue to trust in You because You are infinitely BIGGER than all I can ask or think.
