When everything feels peaceful, we assume we&#8217;re in God&#8217;s will, and when things become difficult, we assume we&#8217;re not. But God&#8217;s calling is not always comfortable. Similar to a woman bringing forth a child, sometimes we have to go through uncomfortable moments. Whatever may have happened to you might have taken you out for a moment, but it doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s the end. God brought you through it or is bringing you through something and soon people are going to see how good God is!<\/p>\n<p>Consider those who have gone before us:<\/p>\n<p>Noah had to build while people mocked him.<\/p>\n<p>Abraham had to leave without knowing exactly where he was going.<\/p>\n<p>Moses had to stand before Pharaoh despite feeling inadequate.<\/p>\n<p>The disciples had to get into a boat even though they didn&#8217;t know a storm was coming.<\/p>\n<p>And you may have to do something similar. You may have to trust God with your finances, your future, your family, your ministry, your career, or your next chapter. You may not have all the answers, but God may simply be saying: Get in the boat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>: <em>Dear God, please forgive me when I have doubts about Your sovereignty or feel anxious. Please help me to turn my eyes again towards Your Son and trust that You are in control.
