You have all authority.”

Sometimes our circumstances can make us feel trapped, just like the children of Israel. Imagine standing with the Israelites after finally escaping from the hands of Pharaoh. They had been delivered from slavery, but now they were standing before the Red Sea. In front of them was an impossible obstacle, and behind them was an army coming to take them back. They had nowhere to go. All they could see was the mountain ahead, the sea before them, and the enemy behind them. But what they could see did not change who God was. The Red Sea was bigger than their ability, but it was not bigger than God’s authority.

Perhaps you find yourself in a Red Sea moment today. You may not see a way out. You may feel surrounded by circumstances you cannot control. You may be looking at something that seems impossible while feeling the pressure of everything coming against you. But remember this, God has all authority. The same God who stood with Israel at the Red Sea is still God today. He is not intimidated by what is standing in front of you, and He is not overwhelmed by what is coming behind you. Pray His authority over your fear. Pray His peace over your anxiety and pray His power over your circumstances.

Prayer for today: Father, Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore You as the one who is over all things.
