Sometimes we believe we need to become better before God will accept us. We may think, “Once I get my life together, then I can come to God.” But that is not the invitation Jesus gives. He says, “Come to me.” Jesus doesn’t ask us to come when we have everything figured out. He invites us to come when we are weary, broken, confused, guilty, or afraid. We come just as we are, trusting that His grace is enough.
