I say this not because I am good or better than anyone else, I say this because I want to recognize God as the giver of all that is good. Those words remind us where our praise belongs. Every good gift, every answered prayer, every moment of grace, and ultimately our salvation comes from God. I want my life to glorify His name. For this reason, I resonate with the song writer Franny Crosby as she declares &#8220;<em>To God be the glory, great things He hath done; so loved He the world that He gave us His Son<\/em>. <em>Who yielded His life an atonement for sin, and opened the life gate that all may go in.<\/em> &#8221; This hymn calls us to give God all the glory and praise for His marvelous works and His incredible love.<\/p>\n<p>When we sing \u201cTo God Be the Glory,\u201d we are choosing to shift our attention away from ourselves and toward the One who deserves our praise. Perhaps today you have something wonderful to celebrate. Give God the glory. Perhaps today has been difficult, and you don&#8217;t feel like praising. Even then, remember who God is. His goodness does not depend on whether life is going the way we want. He remains faithful. His hand in every good thing in our lives. It\u2019s a call to worship and exalt the Lord for His mighty deeds.<\/p>\n<p>Consider the great things God has done in your life and in the world around you. How can you give Him the glory and praise He deserves? Let this hymn inspire you to live a life that honors and exalts God<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>: <em>Glorious God, we give You all the praise and honor for the great things You have done. As we sing &#8220;To God Be the Glory,&#8221; fill our hearts with a deep sense of gratitude and worship. May our lives reflect Your glory and bring honor to Your name.
