{"id":4608,"date":"2026-07-22T01:46:22","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T01:46:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/?p=4608"},"modified":"2026-07-06T19:50:03","modified_gmt":"2026-07-06T19:50:03","slug":"goals-guided-by-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/goals-guided-by-god\/","title":{"rendered":"Goals Guided By God"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>Wednesday, July 22<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Goals Guided by God <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.<\/em><strong> Philippians 3:14<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is wise not only to set goals but also to seek God\u2019s direction in how to achieve them. Success in God\u2019s eyes is not just about reaching a destination; it is about walking the path He has designed for us. When we trust His guidance, He not only directs our steps, but also strengthens us to finish well.<\/p>\n<p>The enemy of our soul does all he can to blind the eyes of the world to the absolute truth that is found in the Son of God. He doesn\u2019t want people to discover that there is One who has already run the greatest race there has ever been and come forth as gold.<\/p>\n<p>He doesn\u2019t want us to attain the prize. He places question marks over God\u2019s promises, causing us to doubt. But take heart you are already a winner! Once you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior you are on the winning team. Jesus\u2019 desire is that we would join Him in His victory procession when, at the end of time, all the powers of darkness will be seen for what they are. All who come to God the Father through Him, trusting in His righteousness and not in our own, will be partakers of the prize which Paul talks about in our Scripture.<\/p>\n<p>As we walk in His ways and learn to be obedient to His voice that we will have the opportunity to gain the rewards, the ultimate prizes, which Paul reminds us about, and that God has stored up for those who love Him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for Today:<\/strong> <em>Lord, thank You for the goals and purpose You place before me. Help me not to rely on my own understanding, but to trust Your direction in every step I take. Teach me to follow Your wisdom, not just my own plans, and lead me safely toward the path You have prepared for me.
