{"id":4506,"date":"2026-05-22T02:54:43","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T02:54:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/?p=4506"},"modified":"2026-05-17T22:55:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-17T22:55:09","slug":"gods-strength-for-the-journey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/gods-strength-for-the-journey\/","title":{"rendered":"God\u2019s Strength for the Journey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>Friday, May 22<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>God\u2019s Strength for the Journey<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Now it was told King David, saying, \u201cThe Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.\u201d So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with gladness. <\/em><strong>2 Samuel 6:12<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Life\u2019s journey often includes difficult roads, painful seasons, and moments of uncertainty. Yet God never asks us to walk alone. His presence becomes our strength in seasons when our own strength runs low. It is said in 2 Corinthians 12:9 <em>\u201cMy grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.<\/em>\u201d Sometimes God allows weakness so we will learn to rely more deeply on Him. When we lean into His presence, we discover that His grace truly is enough. The burdens we carry become lighter when surrendered to Him.<\/p>\n<p>God never intended for His presence to be something we experience only occasionally. He desires daily fellowship with us. Every moment becomes different when we walk aware that He is near. Like a shepherd guiding his sheep, God leads us, protects us, comforts us, and restores us. Even in uncertain seasons, His presence remains constant. Continue seeking Him daily, trusting Him fully, and resting in the peace that only His presence can bring.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong> <em>Father, thank You for being my strength when I feel weak. Help me lean into You and trust that Your grace will sustain me through every season. Thank You for walking with me every day. Help me continue to seek You, trust You, and abide in Your presence all the days of my life.
