{"id":4487,"date":"2026-05-12T02:21:41","date_gmt":"2026-05-12T02:21:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/?p=4487"},"modified":"2026-05-10T22:25:11","modified_gmt":"2026-05-10T22:25:11","slug":"a-personal-place","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/a-personal-place\/","title":{"rendered":"A Personal Place"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>Tuesday, May 12<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A Personal Place <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Now it was told King David, saying, \u201cThe Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.\u201d So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with gladness. <\/em><strong>2 Samuel 6:12<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Ark of the Covenant symbolized God&#8217;s presence among His people. It was kept in a safe and personal place, not just thrown about. No place is more personal than our homes and private lives, yet Obed-Edom opened every corner of his life to the Lord. He allowed God\u2019s presence to dwell with him continually.<\/p>\n<p>Today, God is extending that same invitation to us. He desires not just visitation, but habitation. He wants to dwell with us daily.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong> <em>Lord, t<\/em><em>each me to value Your presence above everything else and to rely on Your strength instead of my own. Let my life become a dwelling place for Your Spirit.
