Sort of manipulating or bargaining with God. We often replay outcomes, trying to figure everything out, holding onto worry just in case. But real release comes when we loosen our grip and trust God fully.<\/p>\n<p>Surrender in prayer sounds like, \u201cLord, I give this to You, completely.\u201d The song <em>Abandoned<\/em> by Benjamin William Hastings captures this beautifully, reminding us what it means to be fully yielded, fully trusting, and completely dependent on God. To be \u201cabandoned\u201d to Him is not a loss, it\u2019s freedom. It\u2019s the place where striving ends and peace begins.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not always easy. Letting go can feel uncomfortable, even vulnerable. But it is in that surrender that we experience true peace. Not because we have all the answers, but because we trust the One who does.<\/p>\n<p>Prayer becomes more than words; it becomes a posture of the heart. A quiet stillness that says, <em>God, I trust You with this. <\/em>And in that place, there is release. Deep, lasting release.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>: <em>Lord, teach me what it means to truly surrender. Help<\/em><em> me not just to speak my prayers, but to release everything into Your hands. Give me peace as I trust You with every detail of my life.
