{"id":4426,"date":"2026-04-01T03:34:25","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T03:34:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/?p=4426"},"modified":"2026-03-31T23:34:52","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T23:34:52","slug":"whats-all-this-noise-about","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/whats-all-this-noise-about\/","title":{"rendered":"What\u2019s All This Noise About?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>Wednesday, April 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s All This Noise About?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: \u201cHosanna! \u2018Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!\u2019 The King of Israel!\u201d\u00a0<\/em><strong>John 12:12-13, NKJV<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When Jesus entered Jerusalem, it wasn\u2019t quiet, it was loud. The crowd was shouting, celebrating, waving palm branches, crying out, \u201cHosanna!\u201d They were making noise because they believed something was about to change.<\/p>\n<p>But here\u2019s the question: what was all the noise really about? They were shouting that the King had arrived. He entered publicly, intentionally, during a major feast when the city was full. This was a declaration: the King has come. But not the kind of king people expected. He came in humility, riding on a donkey. Not to conquer Rome, but to conquer sin. Everyone was shouting, but not everyone meant the same thing. Some praised out of genuine faith. Some shouted out of excitement and curiosity. Some hoped for political rescue. And within days, some of those same voices would cry, \u201cCrucify Him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is where it becomes personal. You and I are part of the story now. Will we praise Jesus only when it feels good? Or will we follow Him when it costs something? Don\u2019t allow your circumstances to redefine who Christ is. The enemy will try whispering fear, stealing peace, distorting truth. But Jesus is still King. Even when life doesn\u2019t look like victory.<\/p>\n<p>Today I want you to consider, what is your \u201cnoise\u201d made of right now faith, fear, or convenience?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today:<\/strong>\u00a0<em>Jesus, in a world full of noise, help my heart be sincere. Let my praise not be shallow or temporary. Teach me to recognize You not just as the King I want, but the King You truly are.
