Zacchaeus \u2013 From Corrupt to Compassionate<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor\u2026\u00a0<\/em>\u2013 Luke 19:8 NIV<\/p>\n

Zacchaeus was a chief tax collector, wealthy, powerful, and despised.<\/p>\n

In the Gospel of Luke 19, he climbed a sycamore tree just to see Jesus. He was small in stature but big in curiosity.<\/p>\n

His flaw? Greed and corruption.<\/p>\n

His mess? Exploiting his own people.<\/p>\n

Yet Jesus called him by name and chose to stay at his house.<\/p>\n

Tasha Cobbs sings a song titled \u2018You Know My Name\u2019 and the lyrics reminds us that<\/p>\n

\ud83d\ude4f\u201cHe knows my name\u2026.And oh, how he walks with me\u2026Yes oh, how he talks with me..And oh how he tells me\u2026That I am his own.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

One encounter changed everything. Zacchaeus voluntarily repaid what he had stolen and gave generously to the poor.<\/p>\n

Salvation didn\u2019t just change his heart, it changed his habits.<\/p>\n

In this Year of Purpose, when Jesus enters your house, transformation follows. True repentance produces visible fruit.<\/p>\n

Prayer for today:\u00a0<\/strong>Jesus, come into my house. Expose anything in my life that doesn\u2019t honor You. Change my heart and my habits. Where I have wronged others, give me courage to make it right. Let salvation overflow into generosity and integrity.
