Yet he committed adultery and arranged a death to cover it. In the Second Book of Samuel 11, David\u2019s private sin became a national scandal. His flaw? Lust and abuse of power. His mess? Betrayal, deception, and devastating consequences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But when confronted by the prophet Nathan, David didn\u2019t deflect. He repented.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Psalms 51 is not polished royalty, it is broken repentance. \u201cCreate in me a clean heart\u2026\u201d David understood something critical: purpose requires purity of heart. Though consequences followed, God did not remove His covenant. From David\u2019s lineage would come Jesus. Repentance restored the relationship. Worship flowed from brokenness.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this Year of Purpose, understand: hiding sin delays destiny, but repentance restores intimacy. God can rebuild what you damaged but it starts with surrender.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>:\u00a0<em>Father, search my heart. Expose anything that threatens my purpose. I refuse to hide behind position or image. Create in me a clean heart. Where I have failed, cleanse me. Where I have fallen, lift me. Let repentance renew my calling.
