When we remember how much grace we\u2019ve been given, we are far more likely to extend that grace to others. This doesn\u2019t mean overlooking sin or pretending things didn\u2019t hurt us. It means choosing to forgive, choosing to respond with patience, and choosing to show kindness, even when it\u2019s not deserved.<\/p>\n<p>When we forget the grace we\u2019ve received, it becomes easy to respond harshly to others. But when we\u2019re deeply aware of God\u2019s ongoing grace in our own lives, it becomes much easier to extend grace to those around us. Jesus knew this power. That\u2019s why He calls us to forgive others just as He has forgiven us.<\/p>\n<p>We can\u2019t give what we don\u2019t recognize we have. The more we remember God\u2019s forgiveness and grace toward us, the more we\u2019re able to offer that same grace to others. This doesn\u2019t mean we\u2019re perfect at it but it means we continually return to the source of grace, allowing it to shape how we treat the people around us.<\/p>\n<p>Food for thought:<\/p>\n<p>Are there people I\u2019m struggling to show grace toward?<\/p>\n<p>How can I remind myself of God\u2019s grace toward me in those moments?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>:<em> Lord, thank You for Your grace in my life. Help me to remember the grace You\u2019ve shown me, so I can pass it on to others. Strengthen me to forgive, to be patient, and to love with the same grace You give me every day.
