There will be times when the path seems smooth, but there will also be seasons of struggle, discouragement, and weariness.

Today, I give thanks for God’s strength that sustains me through every circumstance. I imagine that even Paul might have felt tired and discouraged when he wrote to the believers in Galatia. They had likely faced setbacks, and their energy was running low. Yet Paul’s message was clear in Galatians 6:9: “Don’t give up. Keep your eyes on the goal. Your perseverance will be rewarded in due time.”

Perhaps you, too, are feeling weary today. You may have been walking faithfully for a long time, yet the harvest seems distant. Remember that perseverance does not mean rushing or forcing outcomes; it may mean taking a moment to rest, refocus, and allow God to renew your strength. Sometimes, it also means seeking support through prayer or practical help so you can continue the journey with renewed determination.

This season of gratitude invites us to offer thanks for where we are today right in the middle of the journey, trusting that God is guiding us toward the proper time for the harvest.

Prayer for today: Faithful Father, thank You for Your sustaining strength during seasons of weariness and uncertainty. Help me to persevere and trust Your timing, even when the path is difficult or unclear. Teach me to rest when I need it, to seek support when necessary, and to give thanks for each step along the way. May my heart remain focused on Your kingdom goals and rejoice in Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thursday, November 20 Thankful for the Journey Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 As believers, we often wrestle with two conflicting thoughts about following God’s plans: That doing God’s work will always be difficult and challenging, and […]

[1

post-4214","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
