Chewing on it <\/strong><\/p>\n

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. Psalm 20:7<\/strong><\/p>\n

The idea of surrendering control can feel terrifying. We want to rely on the things we know, the things we can manage. But God calls us to release control and trust in His wisdom, which is far greater than our own. Trusting in God means admitting we don\u2019t have all the answers, but He does. It’s recognizing that His ways are higher than ours, even when we don\u2019t fully understand them.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t have all the answers to these questions. In fact, I\u2019m still chewing on them myself. But one thing is clear: Psalm 20:7 is a reminder that our trust must be rooted in God, not in what we can do, but in what He has already done. It challenges me to examine where I place my trust. When I face challenges, am I turning first to God, or to the “horses” I\u2019ve accumulated along the way?<\/p>\n

This psalm continues to challenge me in ways I don\u2019t always want to be challenged. But it also brings peace, because it reminds me that God is working, even when I can\u2019t see it. He\u2019s not just waiting for me to get it all together; He\u2019s already at work, and He will bring about the victory. Our job is simply to trust Him with it all.<\/p>\n

I pray that our time spent on this verse has been a blessing to you!<\/p>\n

Prayer for today<\/strong>: Lord, I thank You for the peace You offer. Help me to trust in Your presence today and allow Your peace to guard my heart. I choose to rest in Your faithfulness and find strength in Your peace. Help me to not be blinded by the \u201chorses\u201d and \u201cchariots\u201d but to know that all I need can be found in You.
