The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. <strong>Psalm 19:1-2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>David, the shepherd-king, spent countless hours under open skies. What he saw, the sun rising and setting, stars scattered across the night sky, clouds drifting by moved him to worship. He saw not just beauty, but evidence of God\u2019s glory: His power, perfection, and creativity.<\/p>\n<p>The existence and structure of what we see in the heavens continue to declare God&#8217;s glory. God&#8217;s glory is His perfection revealed. The stars, sun, moon, and clouds are His handiwork. Just as an artist&#8217;s painting reveals their vision and skill, so the heavens and the sky reflect the artistry of our Creator.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s as true today as it was thousands of years ago. In fact, science continues to deepen our appreciation for God\u2019s design.<\/p>\n<p>This truth hasn\u2019t changed over the millennia. Science today only deepens our wonder at God\u2019s design. The more we learn about the universe\u2019s structure and order, the more we grasp God\u2019s power. Nature is a universal language everyone understands, revealing God\u2019s wisdom, strength, and eternal nature.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The apostle Paul echoes this in Romans 1:20: <em>\u201cFor since the creation of the world God\u2019s invisible qualities\u2014his eternal power and divine nature\u2014have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The natural world reveals that God is wise, powerful, and eternal. It is a constant, inescapable message that He exists and that He is worthy of our worship.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>: <em>Creator God, thank You for the beauty and order of Your creation. Help me to be more aware of the quiet ways it testifies of You. May I join in its praise, even without words. Open my eyes to see Your glory revealed all around me.
