He was confident that God had tested him, searched him, and found no deceit. David had purposed in his heart that he would not sin with his mouth or engage in transgressions. His plea for God\u2019s protection and justice came from a place of personal integrity.<\/p>\n<p>When we go through trials or moments of feeling wronged, it\u2019s important to pause and ask ourselves: Have we acted in ways that are pleasing to God? Have we allowed bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness to take root in our hearts? David shows us that personal righteousness is key when seeking God\u2019s favor.<\/p>\n<p>Today take a moment and examine your heart.<\/p>\n<p>Is there any area where you have allowed sin, unforgiveness, or bitterness to take hold?<\/p>\n<p>How can you align your heart with God\u2019s righteousness?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>:<em> Lord, search my heart today. Reveal any areas of sin or compromise and help me to live with integrity before You. I want to seek Your will and trust You with my circumstances, knowing that You see my heart.
