The helpless commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless. <strong>Psalm 10:14<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve all been there, feeling tired and discouraged. No one seems to ask how we are doing? In fact on the outside it may look as if everything is okay but on the inside, we are falling apart. In those moments we pray, \u201cLord, do You see me?\u201d And the Lord answers Yes, my child. I see you.<\/p>\n<p>In verse 14 Psalm 10 shifts from despair to hope. The psalmist proclaims that God does not ignore the cries of the afflicted. He sees. He remembers. He cares.<\/p>\n<p>After 11 verses of unloading his frustrations, David changes his tone. This pivotal point is crucial for us to understand. While it can be cathartic to bring our every emotion to God, our souls will be in a dangerous place if we don\u2019t move them towards the place of faith.<\/p>\n<p>Even when others overlook your struggle, God doesn\u2019t. You are not invisible to Him. Your tears are not wasted. He takes your grief \u201cin hand,\u201d holding it as precious and known.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the day I encourage you to sing this hymn:<em> \u201cHis Eye Is on the Sparrow\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I sing because I\u2019m happy&#8230; His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>: <em>Lord, Lord, thank You for seeing me. For holding my pain even when others can\u2019t. Help me to rest in the truth that I am never forgotten by You.
