I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. <strong>John 14:27<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>John 14:27 says \u201c<em>do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid<\/em>.\u201d Here Jesus is encouraging us to hold onto peace. We have the kind of peace that can\u2019t be taken from you unless you let go of it. Today, no matter what the enemy throws your way, you can choose to hold on to peace. It\u2019s not denial of the struggle\u2014it\u2019s defiant faith in the One who has already overcome the world.<\/p>\n<p>You may be praying for peace in your home, peace in your body, peace in your relationships, peace in your mind. Keep praying. But while you wait, don\u2019t miss the peace He\u2019s already given you. Let gratitude be the doorway to deeper rest. Peace isn\u2019t just coming\u2014it\u2019s already here.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>: <em>Dear God, when the enemy tries to bring fear, confusion, or discouragement, remind me that Your peace is stronger. Teach me to praise You for the peace I have, even as I pray for more. Let Your peace guard my heart and my mind.
