{"id":3861,"date":"2025-04-24T05:10:12","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T05:10:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/?p=3861"},"modified":"2025-04-14T00:10:43","modified_gmt":"2025-04-14T00:10:43","slug":"unshakable-faith","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/unshakable-faith\/","title":{"rendered":"Unshakable Faith"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>Thursday, April 24<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Unshakable Fatih <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. <strong>Hebrews 11:1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>True faith doesn\u2019t deny reality \u2014 it chooses to trust a greater reality. The beauty of this kind of faith is that it carries with it an undeniable peace\u2014a peace the world cannot offer. In a world full of uncertainty, the peace of God transcends all understanding. It settles our hearts, providing us with the courage to stand firm in our conviction.<\/p>\n<p>Think of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They didn\u2019t know how God would deliver them, but they were convinced of His power and presence. They said, \u201c<em>But even if he doesn&#8217;t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.\u201d &#8211; <\/em>Daniel 3:18. That\u2019s conviction. That\u2019s unshakable faith.<\/p>\n<p>And what happened? God didn\u2019t just rescue them \u2014 He joined them in the fire. His presence was so real, the flames could not harm them.<\/p>\n<p>You might be walking through a fire of your own \u2014 a season of uncertainty, pain, or waiting. But the same God who was with those three boys is with you now. He may not remove the fire immediately, but He will walk through it with you. This is the truth Jesus left us with following the Resurrection. It is a confidence we can hold onto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is there a fiery trial you&#8217;re currently facing? How might God be inviting you to trust Him in it rather than waiting for Him to remove it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>: <em>Heavenly Father, I praise Your name today. I choose to cling to the truths written in Your Word, knowing that I don\u2019t have to see it to believe it. I trust that You will come through, just like You did for the three Hebrew boys. You will make a way for me too. I hold onto this truth today, trusting that You know best.
