They cried out to the Lord. Exodus 14:10

In the first part of this devotional, we saw how the Israelites stood at the edge of the Red Sea, facing an impossible situation, and how God made a way through the waters. But what we must recognize is that the same God who parted the sea once is the God who continues to part seas for us today, not just once, but again and again. The God who makes a way is faithful to repeat His miraculous works in our lives. This is a truth we must hold onto!

We must understand that God’s provision is ongoing. The God who made a way once doesn’t stop. He continues to provide, guide, and deliver. The Israelites didn’t face just one Red Sea in their journey, but they had many challenges ahead. Similarly, in our lives, we may find ourselves facing challenge after challenge, but we serve a God whose provision and power do not run dry. His ability to make a way is not limited to just one miracle, one breakthrough, or one answer to prayer. God is with us in every season, ready to make a way at every turn.

If God has made a way for you in the past, remember that He is faithful to continue doing so. Look back on His past faithfulness as a reminder of His commitment to provide and make a way in your present situation. Whether it’s a job, a relationship, or a health issue, trust that God will show up again.

Prayer for today: Lord, help us to follow the clear path You set before us, and give us the patience to wait on Your perfect timing. We believe that as You made a way for the Israelites, You will make a way for us to move forward into the destiny You’ve planned. We step forward in faith today, trusting that You are with us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Friday, March 14 When It Looks Like It’s Over, God Comes Through Again and Again As Pharaoh approached, the people of Israel looked up and panicked when they saw the Egyptians overtaking them.
