For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men. Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another. <strong>Romans 14:17-19<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week I shared with you that living in peace isn\u2019t always easy. A partial reason for this is because we are unique and different in our own ways. Likewise, the church is made up of diverse believers with different personalities and from different backgrounds. Disagreements can arise over something as simple as a meal due to different dietary practices. We can out this fire by keeping focus on what truly matters: the kingdom of God.<\/p>\n<p>The kingdom of God is not defined by external matters, such as rules about food or drink, but by righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. For us today, the message is the same: don\u2019t let minor differences or personal preferences become barriers to unity and peace. Instead, focus on building each other up in faith and love.<\/p>\n<p>Remember to prioritize the eternal over the temporal, this is a key to unlocking peace. What matters most is our shared relationship with Christ and His kingdom values\u2014not petty arguments or secondary issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Take a moment to think about your relationships. Are there areas where differences or misunderstandings have caused tension? How can you choose to focus on what truly matters in the kingdom of God and pursue peace?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Evening Thought (8 PM Theme):<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen we allow the Spirit to take full control, it leads to lasting peace\u201d \u2013 Romans 8:6<\/p>\n<p>Encourage others and build each other up to preserve the peace of God\u2019s kingdom. Invite the Holy Spirit to govern your mind, and experience the deep, lasting peace that only He can give.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>: <em>Lord, Lord, thank You for showing me that Your kingdom is about righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Help me to prioritize unity over division and to make every effort to build up those around me. May my words and actions bring peace and encouragement, glorifying You in all things.
