Hebrews 12:14 commands us to pursue peace with all people and holiness, as these are key to seeing the Lord. Looking at this versed through the lens of the New Living Translation, it includes the phrase \u201c<em>work at living in peace<\/em>\u201d reminds us that peace is not passive; it\u2019s an active, daily effort. This pursuit of peace requires intentional effort and a heart aligned with God\u2019s will.<\/p>\n<p>A lack of peace in our relationships can create barriers, not only between us and others but also between us and God. Unresolved conflict breeds bitterness, resentment, and division, which can cloud our ability to feel His presence. Jesus Himself emphasized the importance of reconciliation, teaching that if we have something against a brother or sister, we must address it before offering our worship (Matthew 5:23\u201324).<\/p>\n<p>Peace doesn\u2019t mean avoiding conflict but facing it with grace, humility, and a desire for unity. When we pursue peace, we reflect God\u2019s heart, creating space for His presence to dwell richly in our lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udccd<\/strong><strong>ACTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Take inventory of your conversations and interactions. Over time, your daily efforts will bear the fruit of stronger, healthier relationships.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>: <em>Lord, thank You for teaching me that peace is something to be pursued daily. Help me to put in the effort, even when it feels difficult or unnatural. Give me the grace to reflect Your love in every relationship, and may my efforts draw me closer to You.
