When you’re in the middle of a crisis, what you really believe ‘now’, in that moment, really matters. Hebrews 11:1 says “Now faith is…” not faith was, or faith can be, or faith should be, no! It’s the now faith that will take you through the moment.

As believers, the Bible tells us not to “look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen (2 Corinthians 4:18). “Now” faith stakes its claim on “something…even if we do not see it” (Heb 11:1). Paul says, “We walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). The solution you are looking for will not come as you think it should but keep holding onto hope for the journey you are on is all a part of the process. Remember, no detail is too small for God to use as a conduit of His grace and a testament to His endless care for us.

Now faith is the substance that we can hold onto because of this declaration we can hold onto the promises and not settle for less. We are called to have faith in God and hope for things that will last for all of eternity.

I recently read a quote which says ‘One Day or Day One, you decide’. We become prisoners of our own perceptions; we cease walking in faith…For those who walk by faith, appearances are never the ultimate reality…Reality extends beyond what you can see. For me this is a reminder of God’s Word written in Romans 8:28, even though things may appear bad, God is working things out for our good. He knows just exactly how to take those painful situations, broken areas, and missing parts to make something whole. He specializes in making things beautiful. I know the journey may not be the one you signed up for but keep trusting in God because faith says God will see you through. God guarantees that you will come forth as pure gold – do not settle.

Wednesday, May 8 Now Believe Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
