They are now part of history, and if given the chance, you would choose to undo them. Regardless of whether the fault lies with you or someone else, the past is behind you. It may have left a profound void in your soul, a gaping hole that seems insurmountable. However, if you open yourself to the presence of the LORD, He is willing to fill that void with His boundless love and grace. God is waiting and He is ready to be with you in the emptiness.

As we delve into the pages of the Bible, we uncover a recurring theme: God chooses to work through circumstances of barrenness, empty wombs, unlikely servants, and broken individuals to bring about timely deliverance for His people or fulfill His purpose. Today, my goal is to help you grasp the profound truth that God’s greatest works are often accomplished through empty vessels, especially in a world filled with clichés and superficial answers to real problems. Therefore, it is vital to remember that God can transform and use even our most barren and empty seasons for His purposes.

While the pain may still linger, He promises to continually exchange your ashes for beauty, replace fear with strength, transform mourning into gladness, and bring peace to the depths of despair.

The God you serve is I-mmu-table. He is the Lord.
