{"id":2652,"date":"2023-06-16T03:39:57","date_gmt":"2023-06-16T03:39:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/?p=2652"},"modified":"2023-06-09T15:48:57","modified_gmt":"2023-06-09T15:48:57","slug":"good-morning-praise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/good-morning-praise\/","title":{"rendered":"Good Morning Praise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>Friday, June 16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Good Morning Praise\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. <\/em><strong>1 Thessalonians 5:16-18<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Life, family, my church, healing, a relationship with God, green grass, blue sky, friends, sun, chirping birds, job, spouse, comfy shoes, a soft pillow, coffee, chocolate, smiles, memories of the good times, music, art, books, evergreen trees, irises, fresh air, the ability to move, audio books, pen, paper, oh and did I say coffee? The list can go on and on. What\u2019s on your morning praise list today?<\/p>\n<p>An attitude of gratitude is a decision I make each morning\u2014even on the days when I have difficulty thinking of a single thing I\u2019m thankful for. In these moments I reach for my journal and read my \u2018Praise Report\u2019. God has been good and some days I just need a reminder.<\/p>\n<p>I encourage you to think of five things you are grateful for and concentrate on those today. Praise God for them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>: <em>Jesus, sometimes it\u2019s difficult to find things to be thankful for. The cloud of worry overcomes and I feel alone. When that\u2019s the case, please remind me of all the ways You\u2019ve blessed my life.
