And He wants to connect with us. Figuring out how to do that seems difficult, though. After all, God is God. He&#8217;s huge and mysterious and greater than us. He&#8217;s everywhere, yet He&#8217;s invisible. Thankfully we aren\u2019t left to figure this out alone. God\u2019s word gives us guidance on how we should come to the Father. The answer can be found in today\u2019s verse which says, \u201cDevote yourself to prayer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prayer is not a small thing. It is not marginal. It is not an incidental thing in the believer\u2019s life. Prayer is your lifeline, which is why we are encouraged to remain alter through prayer. Colossians 4:2 in the Message version of the Bible reads \u201c<em>Pray diligently. Stay alert, with your eyes wide open in gratitude<\/em>.\u201d Prayer, thankful prayer is our direct connection to God.<\/p>\n<p>We cannot get deep with God on the run, fitting him into the cracks of your day. But you can enjoy continual fellowship with God on the run if you have gone deep with God in the quiet moments of prayer prior to your run. So, make it your aim. Continuous prayer with God.
