Living A Little Life<\/strong><\/p>\n

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,\u201d says the Lord.<\/em>\u00a0Isaiah 54:17<\/strong><\/p>\n

I wonder how often we feel trapped in life and simply settle for less than God has available to us? I\u2019m talking about an area where you\u2019re playing little when you were created to stretch \u2013 dream big and do more. An area where you backed down when you should have stood up. An area where you opted for easy when the victory was yours if you would have fought for it.<\/p>\n

We are tricked into settling for less by a masterful enemy who knows our weakness and plays on our fears. The enemy\u2019s desire is to make you ineffective and keep you living a little life. A little life far short of the abundance that God is capable of doing through you.<\/p>\n

Understand this, the enemy doesn\u2019t care if you\u2019re fit and healthy. Your finances are not his worry. Your marriage isn\u2019t even on his radar. However, if the demise of any of these things will render you ineffective, then it\u2019s game on for him. At your best, you\u2019re a threat. This is why everything good in your life is threatened. This is why you are tempted. Because when you give into the temptation, the enemy has trapped you to feeling bad again.<\/p>\n

I wonder just how close you are today to your breakthrough, right now at this very moment. I wonder if today could be the last time you have to start over. I wonder if the very thing you\u2019ve been seeking is just around the corner, but you\u2019ve been too tired, too scared, too lazy, too busy, too distracted to round the corner.<\/p>\n

So here is my encouragement for today, don\u2019t settle. The enemy is looking for cracks and will use them to make you feel broken and make you settle for less than you were created for. Today plug the cracks in your life and lock the enemy out. He\u2019s like a roaring lion roaming the halls of your heart looking for any way to get in and devour you from the inside out.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 54:17 is a promise to you \u201cNo weapon formed against you shall prosper.\u201d That\u2019s a promise of God\u2019s protection and provision over your life.<\/p>\n

Prayer for today<\/strong>: Mighty God I declare Your goodness, protection and mercy over me today. I choose to stand on the promises of your word that no weapon formed against me will prosper. I choose to stand against the attacks of the enemy. Amen <\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
