Written in what was a very sad time. After suffering the loss of his children, Spafford wrote this beautiful hymn as a testament to the salvation he found in Jesus through the good and bad times in life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Just like the author, we too can attest to having mountain and valley low experiences too.\u00a0 In my life there have been things that I have done that are right, but there have been wrong choices that I have made as well. Yet through it all, I can sing with Spafford \u2013 It is well\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When we sing this song we are reminding our soul that God is in control. Regardless of our season in life (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8), God teaches us to find internal and eternal peace in Jesus.
