But the people who belong to this world don\u2019t recognize that we are God\u2019s children because they don\u2019t know him.\u00a0 <\/em><strong>1 John 3:1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Have you ever been greeted by someone whose face smiles from ear to ear, lighting up when they see you? I am talking about someone who flings their arms open wide as you approach them \u2026 so there\u2019s absolutely no doubt in your mind that that person is really pleased to see you? There\u2019s that lovely, warm feeling deep inside \u2026 and a knowing that you\u2019re loved (even if you can only hold on to it for that moment). It could be a friend or a family member or someone at Church. Some people just know how to make us feel welcomed and loved. This is also how our Heavenly Father feels when we make the time to sit at His feet and speak with Him. Just know, God is excited to see you!<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve learnt that setting aside time to just be with Him each day isn\u2019t just something that\u2019s nice to do or that we should do \u2026 it\u2019s what we need to do, so that we can \u2013 not just know about His love in our heads \u2013 but really know it in our hearts. It\u2019s what comes through giving time to talking with Him, hearing His voice speaking to us and actively receiving His love.
