Today\u2019s verse tells us this truth, it says \u2018<em>Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.\u2019 <\/em>Ephesians 6:13. So when the devil comes to fight, we put on the armor of God and defeat him. The question is: Are You Putting On The Armor of God Daily?<\/p>\n<p>Verse 13 starts off with a command, \u201cTherefore PUT on the FULL Armor of God.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0It doesn\u2019t say you are saved through grace and now you will always be automatically dressed in the armor of God!\u00a0\u00a0It tells YOU to put it on, and not just some of it\u2026the \u201cFULL\u201d armor!<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So what do we need to put on?<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Belt of Truth \u2013 sincerity in action, character, and utterance; fidelity to an original or to a standard<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Breastplate of Righteousness \u2013 you and I can be made right with God; free from guilt or sin<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gospel of Peace \u2013 this is the Good News; do you know that Jesus Saves?<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shield of Faith \u2013 firm belief in something for which there is no proof; complete trust; loyalty<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Helmet of Salvation \u2013 deliverance from the power and effects of sin; preservation from destruction or failure<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sword of The Spirit \u2013 The Word of God; Do we live by the word of God?\u00a0\u00a0Do we know it by heart to use as a weapon against the enemy, just as Jesus did in the desert?\u00a0\u00a0Do we meditate on God\u2019s word to understand the foundation of our belief?<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With these tools that God has left us with, we too can defeat our enemy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wednesday, October 12 Put It On \u00a0 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
