Music can change our attitudes. It has the power to make us melancholy\u2026 or mode. Music the lyrics or the tune can carry a message. Have you ever tried listening to just the instrumental of your favorite song and found healing in just hearing it? That is because of the healing virtue in music. Even the cells of your body respond to music. This isn\u2019t\u00a0a feel-good response. A scientific study at Michigan State University found that just 15 minutes of listening to music could increase levels of immune chemicals \u2013 vital to protect against disease. By contrast, the release of cortisol (the \u201cstress hormone\u201d) dropped by up to 25%.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Music has power\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026 power to communicate<\/p>\n<p>\u2026 power to inspire<\/p>\n<p>\u2026 power to change<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Music is a powerful force. It communicates messages to our lives. It communicates messages to our hearts and to our minds. And even the very cells of our bodies. The question today is not whether or not you can sing but whether you have a song to sing. Your song of salvation can change the lives of the people around us.
