Who else rescues the helpless from the strong? Who else protects the helpless and poor from those who rob them?\u201d<\/em> <strong>Psalm 35:10<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Life is a battle. David prays that God would oppose those who oppose against me. He prays, \u2018<em>Fight against those who fight against me\u2026 arise and come to my aid\u2026 Say to me, \u201cI am your salvation<\/em>\u201d\u2019 (Psalm 35:1-3). Or as The Message puts it, \u2018Reassure me; let me hear you say, \u201cI\u2019ll save you.\u201d\u2019 (Psalm 35:3, MSG).<\/p>\n<p>When we are under attack it is easy to feel that it must be your fault. But twice David repeats that their desire to trap him is \u2018<em>without cause<\/em>\u2019 (Psalm 35:7). Sometimes you may face opposition not because you are doing something wrong but because you are doing something right. David prays to God to rescue him: \u2018then my soul will rejoice in the Lord and delight in his salvation\u2019 (Psalm 35:9).<\/p>\n<p>During these times I encourage you to hold onto the song written by Ben Fielding and Reuben Morgan that celebrates this salvation. Today let\u2019s use these words as prayer and worship:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Savior,<\/p>\n<p>He can move the mountains,<\/p>\n<p>My God is mighty to save,<\/p>\n<p>He is mighty to save.<\/p>\n<p>Forever,<\/p>\n<p>Author of salvation,<\/p>\n<p>He rose and conquered the grave,<\/p>\n<p>Jesus conquered the grave.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Monday,\u00a0May 2 God Our Savior \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 With every bone in my body I will praise him: \u201cLord, who can compare with you?
