{"id":1545,"date":"2021-12-27T01:47:17","date_gmt":"2021-12-27T01:47:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/?p=1545"},"modified":"2021-12-21T01:48:41","modified_gmt":"2021-12-21T01:48:41","slug":"for-i-am-persuaded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/for-i-am-persuaded\/","title":{"rendered":"For I Am Persuaded"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: right;\"><strong>Monday December 27<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>For I Am Persuaded<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.\u00a0<strong>Romans 8:38-39<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do you have the determination that is written in today\u2019s verses? To be persuaded that nothing shall separate you from the love of God? The truth found in these two verses are something to hold onto throughout life. These truths have inspired some of our greatest thinkers and teachers of the Word of God to comment on its meaning. These truths are cemented in the New Testament words of Matthew 1:23 \u201c<em>They shall call his name Immanuel, which is translated, \u201cGod with us<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Francis Schaeffer wrote, \u201cFrancis Schaeffer wrote, \u201cNothing in all the universe can separate us from God\u2019s love. It isn\u2019t just the things we see, it\u2019s also the things we don\u2019t see. Supernatural forces, demons, all the forces of hell, the entire hierarchy of evil\u2026. And where does that leave us? It leaves us as \u2018more than conquerors through him that loved us.\u2019\u2026 If we have truly trusted Christ for eternal life, he assures us that we will never perish, and that nothing can \u2018pluck us out of his hand.\u2019 Then, as though this were not assurance enough, he says that nothing can pluck us out of God the Father\u2019s hand either.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Simply stated, there is nothing happening in your life today that will separate you from the love of God \u2013 nothing can even break that bond that holds us firmly in His love.
