{"id":1470,"date":"2021-11-27T01:09:24","date_gmt":"2021-11-27T01:09:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/?p=1470"},"modified":"2021-11-22T22:11:05","modified_gmt":"2021-11-22T22:11:05","slug":"god-really-knows-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/god-really-knows-you\/","title":{"rendered":"God Really Knows You"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>November 27-28<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>God Really Knows You\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even before I speak, you already know what I will say.<strong>\u00a0Psalm 139:4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the days when I finish up with work early, I often plan ahead with a pre-dinner meal. I know that when the kids get in from school they aren\u2019t overly hungry but rather want something to snack on. Therefore I prepare a light meal and to their surprise, it\u2019s just what they wanted.<\/p>\n<p>This reminds me of this verse of Scripture. God knows us so well that He knows exactly how we will respond in any given situation. He isn\u2019t dictating to us what to say or do but He simply knows us and therefore He knows how we will react to every circumstance of life.<\/p>\n<p>Isn\u2019t it great to know that God loves watching us as we go through our daily lives and He loves us unfailingly, even when He knows we\u2019re going to do something wrong?<\/p>\n<p>As much as I know my children, God knows each one of us infinitely more. He knows every move we\u2019re about to make and every word we\u2019re about to speak. God knows us so thoroughly that it\u2019s impossible to hide from Him, as it says in verses 11 and 12 of this Psalm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>I could ask the darkness to hide me<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>or the light around me to turn into night,<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>but even darkness is not dark for you,<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>and the night is as bright as the day.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Darkness and light are the same to you.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>As much as we would like to think we are unpredictable and that we can hide our behavior from God, we can\u2019t. There is such freedom in knowing this truth; knowing that no matter what we think, do or say, God knows us and still loves us unfailingly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>:<em>\u00a0<\/em><em>Father God, You know me completely, without exception.
