Remain in my love.<strong> John 15:9 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>God created us in love, and we remain in His love throughout our lives and for all eternity. He says \u2018I have loved you with an everlasting love\u2019 (Jeremiah 31:3). His love for us is not dependent on our success, looks, intelligence or anything else for that matter. This is the truth, however we may feel about it or whatever we believe.<\/p>\n<p>You might think it improbable that Jesus would love you! Your personal experience may be that you haven\u2019t been loved and that makes accepting this unconditional love difficult. Some may even see it as outright fake. In your heart you feel unloved and in your mind you believe that no one loves you.<\/p>\n<p>What we have experienced in life influences what we believe. But our belief of what we think is true isn\u2019t necessarily accurate. Our belief may be a long way from the truth.<\/p>\n<p>If what we believe isn\u2019t necessarily the truth, where do we find truth? In God\u2019s Word, where Jesus says \u2013 \u2018As the Father has loved me so have I loved you\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus says, \u2018<em>Remain in my love<\/em>.\u2019 We have the choice whether we act upon that instruction or not. If we choose to reject it, we\u2019ll continue to believe the lie of the enemy that we\u2019re unloved. We\u2019ll feel unloved and behave as if we are unloved.<\/p>\n<p>Our role is choosing to receive Jesus\u2019 love. His role is to make that love a reality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today<\/strong>:<em> Dear Lord, You know that sometimes I don\u2019t feel or believe that I\u2019m loved. I\u2019m sorry that I have believed that You, together with people, have rejected me. I choose to receive Your love and to remain in it and I trust You to make Your love for me a reality.
