{"id":110,"date":"2020-02-14T01:40:44","date_gmt":"2020-02-14T01:40:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/?p=110"},"modified":"2020-02-10T19:44:35","modified_gmt":"2020-02-10T19:44:35","slug":"110-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cornerstonecem.org\/blog\/110-2\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>Friday, February 14<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>God is Love\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son so when you pray, you must believe and not doubt at all. <strong>\u00a0John 3:16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today is Valentine\u2019s Day and with this day comes adventure, hope, and a lot of expectation. Why do men and women around the country secretly hope for something to arrive unexpectedly on that day? Well, it means that you\u2019re special, chosen, picked out from the crowd, and noticed. We all want to be like that.<\/p>\n<p>It got me thinking. That\u2019s how the Lord is with us. God noticed us. He has picked us out of the crowd. He\u2019s chosen us. John 3:16 says, \u201c<em>For God so loves the world, that He gave<\/em>\u2026\u201d Again this is the love that God offers us. He also waits for us to pick Him; to tell Him that we\u2019re giving ourselves to Him and Him alone.<\/p>\n<p>God uses affectionate language towards us. He\u2019s jealous for us and won\u2019t share us. Even though we don\u2019t deserve it \u2013 He woos us tenderly, and calls us back. Gods heart is for us. None of us is overlooked not just today but on any day of the year because God loves us! He longs for us \u2013 every day of the year.
