Do you need to feel God\u2019s love today?<\/p>\n<p>Cornerstone by Hillsong Worship is a long-time favorite song of mine. It\u2019s where my heart often goes when I feel overwhelmed with all the stuff of life, the weight of burdens, responsibilities, sadness, the concerns, and the various scenarios that go round my head. My heart is reminded that the weak are strong in the Savior&#8217;s love.<\/p>\n<p>I realize that my heart goes to this song in particular because the words are about Him, about Jesus, and not about me. They\u2019re not words that I have to \u2018inhabit\u2019 somehow, emotions or sentiments that I need to relate to or \u2018own\u2019, in order to experience the power of the song. Rather, they\u2019re about Jesus. Just that. The truth that is Him. And so, because of that, I can find and feel the hope that He brings, regardless of the challenges in my own head and life.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u201cMy hope is built on nothing less<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Than Jesus blood and righteousness<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>I dare not trust the sweetest friend<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>But wholly trust in Jesus name.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Words of comfort today is that we can experience Him through prayer. Today, I don\u2019t know what you are going through but I do know this &#8211; through the storm, He is Lord. He is ever present and ready to respond to the cry of our hearts. He loves us unconditionally and loves us to turn to Him in our need.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer for today: <\/strong><em>Dear Lord God, I so don\u2019t want to be bounced around but remain firm in the Savior&#8217;s love. Thank You so much for being my ever present help.
